Jeremiah Joseph Callahan

Jeremiah Joseph Callahan was born at Bay City, Michigan, on January 7, 1878. In 1897 he began teaching at Duquesne University. From 1917 to 1930 he served as President of Holy Ghost College, Cornwells Heights, Pennsylvania; from 1930 to 1940 he was President of Duquesne University, after which he served as pastor of St. Augustine Church, Isle Brevelle, Louisiana. Besides Euclid or Einstein, he is the author of a two-volume work entitled The Science of Language (1938-1939). J. J. Callahan died on October 11, 1969.
